Privacy policy

Last updated: August 2026

Camyster takes the protection of your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data is processed and why.

Data collected

Using the chatroulette requires no sign-up or account. We do not collect directly identifying data. Technical data (truncated IP address, device type, pages viewed) may be processed for audience measurement, only with your consent.

Purposes

Technical data is used to measure site audience, improve its operation and ensure its security.

Legal basis

Audience-measurement processing relies on your consent (Article 6.1.a GDPR), collected via the cookie banner. You may withdraw it at any time.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 in Consent Mode: no measurement cookie is set until you accept. IP addresses are anonymized. See the cookie policy for details.

Retention period

Audience-measurement data is kept for a limited period in line with regulatory recommendations (at most 25 months), then deleted or anonymized.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to and port your data. To exercise it, write to contact@camyster.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
